= HEALTHY LIFE STYLE : INVITATION TO CYCLING =
(English) (Japanese)
"Return to Nature (Retournons a la nature)" is a famous phrase by Jean Jacques Rousseau. When you visit these cycling roads, you can enjoy nature which, as Rousseau said, is managed by the inhabitants. There are, however, few unmanaged places, the various and changing nature of fields, riverside and seashore will give you new happenings and deep impression. If you could visit these cycling roads with your family or friends, you will be able to not only refresh yourself but also reexamine the value of nature and environmental problems.

Monobe River "cycling road" == Click on this
Monobe River"cycling road" which I introduce here, is about 10Km cource (one way) from the mouth of the river to the Kagami Bridge. In Kochi, as you can't carry your bicycle by using public transportation, you have to take it by your own car. But fortunately there are many parking spaces on the riverbank.

Kuroshio cycling road == Click on this
Kuroshio cycling road is the bicycle path which was constructed along the sea coast from Yasu Town to Aki City . You can rent a bicycle at Yasu Town Cycling Terminal. As this cycling road was constructed on the railway line which was abolished in 1974, you can enjoy gentle up and down of the road. Though you may wander from the cycling road, you must return the same road (Kuroshio cycling road) which you pass through. If we could use Gomen-Nahari Line to carry our bicycle, we could easily access this cycling road.
